Hyun Jeung 정현
Hyun is a printmaker.
She grew up in Korea before coming to France to study fine arts at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she obtained a Doctorat en Arts Plastiques. She also took part in engraving workshops at the Beaux-Arts de Paris - notably with Jean-Pierre Pincemin. She has also studied water etching techniques at various workshops in Beijing.
Hyun's work has been exhibited in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Seoul, Daegu, Osaka and Carthage. His work can be found in private collections around the world, as well as in the collections of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, the Musée des Arts Asiatiques de Toulon, the Musée du Dessin et de l'Estampe Originale de Gravelines, the Musée Cernuschi - Musée des Arts Asiatiques de la Ville de Paris - and the Tunisian Ministry of Culture.
